EARLY LIFE
My very first job was as an 11 year old behind the cash register at my parents’ country store in Vermont.
I quickly learned how to serve, how to communicate, and how to assert myself in our busy resort town.
I went to Vassar College and the University of Virginia, where I received my Masters in Education.
I am an athlete and captained both my college field hockey and lacrosse teams, where I developed massive drive and leadership skills that have served me ever since.
After my formal “schooling” ended, I took a traditional “career approach” to life and spent my twenties and early thirties in non-profit management, which was great but I grew restless.
